The doctor is in...and is having the last laugh.

Actor and Black Lives Matter activist Jesse Williams returned to the set of Grey's Anatomy on Monday, and marked the occasion with an Instagram picture capturing his breathtaking hotness and a caption that gleefully mocked those so offended by powerful speech at the BET Awards that it had some campaigning for his termination.

Scrub top so young we might need to PETITION for a bigger size.... #WorkWorkWorkWorkWorkWork #StayWokeWokeWokeWokeWokeWoke #TheyMadMadMadMadMadMad #CantStopWontStop #TriedIt

The picture shows Williams in Dr. Avery's GSM scrubs (which does all kinds of magical things to his eyes), and he writes, "Scrub top so young we might need to PETITION for a bigger size.... #WorkWorkWorkWorkWorkWork #StayWokeWokeWokeWokeWokeWoke #TheyMadMadMadMadMadMad #CantStopWontStop #TriedIt."

Let's call him Dr. Petty, and he's handing out prescriptions of Maximum Strength STFU.

While accepting BET's prestigious Humanitarian Award at the June ceremony, Williams stunned audiences with an incendiary and painfully raw speech detailing the racism and police brutality Black people currently face.  It wasn't long before a ridiculous petition was created demanding Williams be fired for the "cascade of inappropriate, unprofessional and racist commentary against police officers and Caucasians..."

I'm sure Dr. Petty has a prescription for that too:
Detractors were further enraged by the fact that Williams' boss is none other than master television writer and producer is Shonda Rhimes, a black woman who not only owns a night of television on a major broadcast network but also wrote and produced the moving video piece introducing Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention, dismissed the petition as if it were dust on one of her SAG Awards.  Apparently, haters will mine spaces Black people created for themselves searching for things to be outraged about, but missed the episode of Scandal dedicated to Black Lives Matter called "The Lawn Chair" in 2015 and the message of the speech entirely.

Rhimes also shut it down with epic shade that cast Shondaland into utter darkness.

Um, people? Boo don't need a petition. #shondalandrules

I can't help but hope that art will imitate life, and Shonda will use some of Williams' real passion into his equally gorgeous doppleganger, Dr. Avery's plotlines for the upcoming season.  We will find out when Grey's begins its 13th season this September 22.

Watch, re-watch and memorize Jesse Williams' fantastic speech.
