To borrow from a popular Titanic Tumblr meme, it’s been 84 years since we’ve gotten a new episode of Empire.

The powerful Fox hip hop tragedy is finally returning for the back half of its second season.  We finally get to learn what happened to Andre and Rhonda’s baby after she was cruelly shoved down the stairs by a masked attacker (expect grim news); and how Lucious is handling the loss of his cherished company (expect crazy). 

In order to celebrate the epic return of Empire, we must appreciate the most important thing about the show.  It’s not the Emmy-nominated actor, Taraji P. Henson and or Oscar nominee Terrence Howard.  It’s not the scene-stealers, Jussie Smollett and Ta’Rhonda Jones. It's not even the music.  

​It’s Cookie Lyon’s sublime fashion. 

The only thing more exciting than what will come out of the mama Lyon’s mouth is what comes out of her closet.  From furs to fringe to feathers, nothing is off-limits for the matriarch of this empire.  Check out my favorite season 2 ensembles, check out the preview below, and don’t forget to tune into Empire on Wednesdays on Fox at 9/8c. 

The Japril hits keep on coming. 

If the divorce and April’s surprise pregnancy wasn’t enough, the baby bombshell has finally been detonated, and Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital’s hottest daddy-to-be's mental health is the collateral damage.  But it wouldn’t be Grey’s Anatomy if the surgeons didn’t have epic knock-down drag-outs in the middle of the surgical ward.

The sneak peek below finds Jackson (Jesse Williams) railing at April (Sarah Drew) for making yet another unilateral decision by not telling him about the baby before their divorce.  And the resulting argument gets a little too intense when the normally level-headed Dr. Avery absolutely loses it.  

There's a belief that only the people you care about can make you that irate, but I think secret babies are the exception to that rule.  

It doesn’t matter if you are Team Japril or not (SSG is decidedly not), these two have roughly six months stow their baggage and unite as parents.  Find out if they can at least stop screaming at each other on this Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy on ABC at 8/7c.

The most delightful thing to spring from season 2 of The CW's Jane The Virgin, besides all of the adorable babies and Jane finally picking Michael as her one true love, is the unusual friendship, or womance, budding between our favorite virgin, Jane, and her baby's father's steely ex-wife, Petra.  

The best part about NBC's The Voice, besides the judges trash-talking each other and those super-campy spinning chairs, is the fact that the contestants are judged solely on their voices so that that their talent is cherished instead of critiqued.  But it's also because of the epic unscripted moments, like when a judge joins a contestant on stage to jam out and hopefully woo them to their team.  It can either go terribly wrong or fantastically right, and either one makes for good television.  The latter happened on Wednesday's episode of The Voice.

After Voice hopeful Joe Maye bewitched the crowd, as well as judges Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton, with his performance of '50s rock staple, "I Put A Spell On You," Christina expressed how much she loved performing the song.  "That is one of my favorite songs in the whole wide world to sing.  I would actually love to sing it with you one day," Aguilera gushed.  

Pharrell, who turns into a beaming fangirl whenever Xtina sings, asked, "Why don't you?"  

What happened next was a riffing, running, face-melting series of adlibs and burgeoning chemistry that had the judges on their feet, the audience cheering, and an already over-the-moon Maye screaming "Oh my God!" after their impromptu slay session ended.  

If Maye can hold his own with a Grammy-winning legend in a spontaneous performance, he may the man to beat at this early stage in the competition.

Just when you think that you could love Supernatural star Jared Padalecki even more, the actor-turned-mental health activist launches yet another Always Keep Fighting fundraiser with an emotional and candid video celebrating the campaign’s first year anniversary with its most powerful message yet.

Olivia Pope is back to gladiating—and in fierce graphic prints no less!  This week’s episode of Scandal is called “The Fish Rots From The Head” probably due to the pure garbage Pope & Associates has to wade through on this current case. 

The sneak peek below finds Olivia (Kerry Washington) and crew tackling a ripped-from-the-headlines case in which a night of partying for the secret service ends up with a dead escort.  You may remember when a dozen secret service agents were caught with prostitutes in 2012.   
Abby asked her to take the case, which may put her on a collision course with her ex-boyfriend, also know an the President of the United States, after six months with no communication.
