It's rare that May blooms without the hint of an official summer song. How are we supposed to get our summer jam on without a fresh banger?

Like a musical superhero, nine-time Grammy winner Justin Timberlake swooped out of his hiatus to debut his a new single, "Can't Stop The Feeling,” late Thursday night. Just like that summer is saved!

Over the past few days, DJs and producers across the country have been tweeting their love for the new Timberlake joint that will be featured in the upcoming animated movie, Trolls, starring Anna Kendrick, James Corden and Timberlake himself.  Music curator and producer Scott Vener described it as "dance MJ meets BILL WITHERS disco," in a tweet.

And he’s not wrong.  Not unlike the Oscar-nominated “Happy” from Despicable Me 2, “Can’t Stop The Feeling” is charged with an effervescent, adorable fun, powered by child-friendly lyrics, an infectious, funky edge, and Timberlake’s soulful voice.  The addictive song ensures that it’ll be played endlessly at summer cook-outs, graduation parties and roadtrips.

EOnline.com reports that Timberlake’s new album—his first since 2013’s The 20/20 Experience—will be released later this year.
