The Japril hits keep on coming.
If the divorce and April’s surprise pregnancy wasn’t enough, the baby bombshell has finally been detonated, and Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital’s hottest daddy-to-be's mental health is the collateral damage. But it wouldn’t be Grey’s Anatomy if the surgeons didn’t have epic knock-down drag-outs in the middle of the surgical ward. The sneak peek below finds Jackson (Jesse Williams) railing at April (Sarah Drew) for making yet another unilateral decision by not telling him about the baby before their divorce. And the resulting argument gets a little too intense when the normally level-headed Dr. Avery absolutely loses it. There's a belief that only the people you care about can make you that irate, but I think secret babies are the exception to that rule. It doesn’t matter if you are Team Japril or not (SSG is decidedly not), these two have roughly six months stow their baggage and unite as parents. Find out if they can at least stop screaming at each other on this Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy on ABC at 8/7c. Until then, check out the sneak peek below! Photo Credits: cosmopolitan.com

The 88th Annual Academy Awards are this Sunday, and you’re either in the midst of planning your Oscar party, indifferent to the awards show obsession or boycotting because of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy. I'm leaning towards avoiding the awards ceremony, save for host Chris Rock's opening monologue, so I've planned a full roster of television to mainline along with a gooey plate of nachos.
Here are 5 shows to binge-watch on Oscar night...
For the Japril fans waiting on bated breath to find out the status of their favorite couple, your time has come! This week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy will focus on the Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April’s (Sarah Drew) turbulent relationship following the death of their son and April’s return from overseas. The hour will feature the peaks and valleys from Japril’s rocky marriage through a series of flashbacks.
The sneak peek below gives us a taste of a hellacious low as April rails at Jackson for serving her with divorce papers at work. Keen-eyed fans may remember Meredith watching this very fight in the fantastic "The Sound Of Silence" that aired two weeks ago. Valentine's Day either reaffirms your love for your bae or is a bleak reminder of how painfully single you are. Regardless of your romantic situation, why not bask in the eternal happiness or misery of imaginary people? Let's review the statuses of your favorite TV 'ships from New Girl, The Flash, Grey's Anatomy and more...
The 47th NAACP Image Awards, which aired Friday night on TVOne, answered the Oscars exclusion with an awards show that was an inclusive celebration for musicians, actors and activists of color. Winners and nominees cheered each other on, cracked jokes while presenting and accepting their awards, and passionately and adorably lip-synched to John Legend’s performance.
Remember when Meredith had finally recovered from Derek’s death, and Goddess of Shondaland, Shonda Rhimes, promised that season 12 of “Grey’s Anatomy” shift back to his lighter, rom-com-inspired roots? Well, she lied.
There’s something tragic afoot in Shondaland. And no, it’s not the fact that no one can just be happy, although that is troubling. It’s the dreaded winter finale! This week’s shows are the last of the year! I’m not crying, it’s just raining on my face…indoors.
This week’s episode of "Grey's Anatomy" called “The Things We Lost In The Fire” follows the doctors as they treat firefighters injured on the job. In this sneak peek, Meredith’s newly instated ‘Person’ Alex confronts his girlfriend Jo about his lack of boundaries with Meredith. Is this the end of Alex and Jo? Her points are valid, but after a few episodes of her begging for validation with an unbearably whiny disposition, I wouldn’t be sad if it was. Would you? Check into Grey’s Anatomy of the finale time this year on Thursday at 8/7c on ABC. Photo Credits: ibtimes.com
"Grey's Anatomy" is about to get even dreamier!
Legendary actor and two-time Oscar winner Denzel Washington is coming to "Grey's Anatomy," which is the stuff of my TV fantasies. Before you wonder if he'll whip out his "Training Day" persona during surgeries or will have meet-cutes in the elevator with Dr. Stephanie Edwards (one of my faves), Washington will be utilizing his talents in behind the camera, TVLine.com reports. Washington will direct this season’s ninth episode slated to air during November sweeps. Though he has directed feature films such as "Antwone Fisher" (2002) and “The Great Debaters” (2007), this will mark his first time directing on the small screen. Until Washington’s arrival, “Grey’s Anatomy” is continuing to cycle back to its racy rom-com + surgery roots. The sneak peek for this Thursday’s episode, “Old Time Rock And Roll,” finds Maggie remorseful and mortified after a night of “filthy” sexy time with an intern. Most people spend all of the week aching for Friday. If you’re a Small Screen Girl (or Boy or Person), you yearn for Thursdays, because that's when you are admitted to Shondaland—a topsy-turvy, dark and twisty amusement park that boasts surgeries and soliloquies (“Grey’s Anatomy”); fairytales in which the princess dies, the evil queen goes down and Black Girl Magic saves the day (“Scandal”); and carefree bisexual black widows getting their groove back (“How To Get Away With Murder”).
If you’re already clamoring for early admission, you're in luck! Here is a sneak peek of this week’s episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” called "Walking Tall." In last week's premiere, Jackson (Jesse Williams) boasted a nasty disposition in the wake of his estranged wife, April’s, return from doctoring overseas. I may have cursed April (Sarah Drew) for breaking Jackson’s heart by once again leaving to doctor overseas, so I'm tickled by the clip below. It seems that Jackson’s soon-to-be ex-wife caught a mysterious infectious disease abroad. She has festering lesions and a fever! Also, notice that Bailey is dressed to the nines, presumably enjoying her first days as Chief of Surgery. Will this crisis bring the spouses back together or drive them further apart? Which outcome would you prefer? Share your thoughts below. Check into “Grey’s Anatomy” this Thursday at 8/7c on ABC. Photo Credits: ABC.com |
